Wave of Prayer for the whole Parish
Our parish will be running a series of special events and initiatives to participate in the global ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ wave of prayer between 25th May – 4th June. Encouraged by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, churches across the globe are all taking steps to #pledge2pray and we will be playing our part.
In St Just in Roseland & St Mawes, we will be hand delivering a posctard (left) to every residence in the parish as part of our commitmet to praying for this community and to remind every resident of our presence and commitment to them. In each of our churches, new prayer stations will be created, offering people the opporunity tot explore the different dimensions of prayer, or simply to just take some time out from their busy lives.
As a church we will be especially praying for our community, street-by-street, at our services of Morning Prayer in St Just (9am Tues & Fri) and at our Night-prayers – Compline, in St Mawes Church (7pm Friday 26th May & 2nd June).
Further details of our Thy Kingdom Come campaign can be found via our ‘Prayer’ page on this website.
