Come into His Presence.
Our Quiet Days offer a chance to step out of busy lives and to enter into the presence of God for nourishment, refreshment, prayer and reflection.
Our next Quiet Day will be Tuesday the 28th February at St Just Church. The day will be led by The Revd Penny Leach. We will begin at 10am with coffee and end at 3pm. For more information or to book a place, please email our Parish Office.
Quiet Days at St Just in Roseland
The Church of St Just in Roseland has its home in a 13th century building on a site used for Christian worship since the 6th century Celtic saints. The church is beautifully situated on the shores of a tidal creek and is surrounded by wonderful gardens with peaceful pools, a holy well and many unusual plants.
Way of Life
Quiet Days can be a valuable part of our journey of discipleship – an oasis for refreshment and renewal in our busy lives. Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. (Luke 5.16) Jesus regularly took time apart to pray. ‘Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.’ (Mk 6.31b) He encouraged his disciples to do the same.
Be still and know
Join us to set aside some time to come into His presence: to listen, to pray, to reflect or just to be still and know Him near. Reflection and silence. In our Quiet Days a number of short led reflections on a theme, help us to focus on God. There will be suggestions for using the time alone – or you are welcome to do your own thing: walk, read, pray, rest.

Our Quiet Days are free of charge and lunch is provided, we just ask for a donation to help with costs. Every one is welcome to come along for all or just part of the day. For more information or to book your place on one of our Quiet Days, please email our Parish Office.
