St Just in Roseland Church could not fulfil her ministry without the commitment and support of her ‘Friends and Companions’
We are always humbled and in awe of just how many people fall in love with St Just in Roseland Church and how the sense of presence they experience in the church and grounds leaves a lasting impression. We are committed to ensuring that this special and holy place continues to be open and available. Our Friends and Companions play a vital role in this. If you would like to support the upkeep of the churchyard and gardens please donate via https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/stjustandmawespcc
‘Friends’ of St Just
Through the spring and summer months, Friends of St Just come and wait in the church to be able to greet, welcome, and talk about the history and importance of this parish church. If you are visiting, please look out for the badge that they wear and feel free to ask questions. Our Friends also try to be available when a larger group has booked to come along.
If you live in the area and would welcome a purposeful couple of hours in the church, we are always looking for more people to become Friends! Friends can be church-goers or non-church-goers …. they just have a heart for the place. Contact us.
St Just Companions
The Companions of St Just in Roseland are a very special and dispersed group of supporters. They sign up to our Companions association and receive a lapel badge, newsletters, and seek to support special aspects of our ongoing restoration. Every year we hold a special ‘Companions Service’ to which all are invited.
In the past, our Companions have helped to raise money for the restoration of the top lychgate and the Holy Well. This year we are inviting our Companions to help us restore the lower Lychgate.
Becoming a Companion is easy and just needs a simple form and subscription. To request a form please email us.
